In general

Our teaching is in English only. In the Bachelor of Management and Technology, we are offering the mandatory lectures Business Law 1 (3rd semester) and Business Law 2 (4th semester) (both Prof. Maume). This is complemented by the 3 ECTS elective “Corporate Finance and the Law - Law for Entrepreneurs” (Dr. Marcus Nauheim), which focuses on the issues that young start-ups typically face, with a focus on company law.

In the Masters programs (so MMT, MiM and MCS) we are offering several electives on company and finance law. At the center we have two 6 ECTS courses on Company Law and om Banking and Financial Markets Law, which reflects the denomination of the professorship. The link to the law of technology is reflected in the 3-ECTS-lecture EU Fintech Regulation. These three courses are offered by Prof. Maume. We are very happy about the external contributions Alternative Capital and How It Impacts the Lifecyle of Business Enterprises (3 ECTS, Prof. Dr. Benjamin Leyendecker), focusing on mergers and private equity investments, and Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering (3 ECTS, Dr. Lars Haffke) - which should be self-explaining and gets more and more important every year. For students who want to dig a little deeper into the link between finance and technoly we also offer an Advanced Seminar: EU Fintech Regulation (not to be confused with the lecture!).

Generally, we are happy to supervise theses from these areas. If we know you from our classes, in particular the electives, we are pretty sure that we can find a suitable topic.
