The Center for Entrepreneurial and Financial Studies (CEFS) is focused on research and teaching in the field of entrepreneurship and finance. A special focus lies on research in the context of entrepreneurial finance at the interface between science and practice. 

The Center’s aim is to deliver theoretically well-founded research dealing with real world problems in the context of entrepreneurship and finance. As a part of Technical University of Munich (TUM), one of Europe´s leading universities, the Center sees itself as an institution that integrates technological know-how driven by cutting-edge research with financial management solutions for the industry. It aims to become one of the leading European research institutions in the field of entrepreneurship and finance located in one of the most dynamic high-tech areas in Europe.
