Exam Dates
- Please check TUMonline for the current exam dates.
Exam Enrollment
- Please enroll via TUMOnline within the deadline for the particular exam.
Exam Failure
- Students who failed an exam have to take the exam in the next semester even if the course will not be offered.
- Students who have failed an exam or who have fallen ill and have presented a medial certificate have to register for the repeat exam via TUMonline, as you will not be enrolled automatically!
- Other students, who were for example unable to attend the exam, can take part in this exam as well, but also have to register for the exam via TUMonline.
- For each course an exam will be offered in each semester.
General Information
Unless otherwise announced in a specific course, please adhere to the following rules for all courses:
- Students have to take a proof of identity with a photo (ID, driver’s license) as well as a proof that they are enrolled students at TU München to the exam.
- Students are allowed to use a non-programmable calculator during the exam.
- Further, students are allowed to use a non-electronic dictionary during the exam (be prepared that dictionaries might be checked).
- Exams of past semesters are not available at the department.
- Answer in English – Texts in German will not be considered.
Hint: Students are recommended to employ simple, unambiguous, and straight-forward English when answering questions. With regard to the time restrictions of exams, we recommend students to use dictionaries only if it is absolutely necessary.
