Based on his study on executive compensation and the data base development for it, he states how important it is to share research findings.
It is not only inspiring to see how students and other disciplines use the research findings for their own research work. Uneasily grows within the economic research to be dependent on a small number of Gatekeepers in the US, who provide data sets for research, states Prof. Friedl. In particular, if taxpayers pay the development of databases its developer should not hide it from the society.
