Course Topic
Content
The students will learn fundamentals in design thinking and business planning which they have to apply in a case study. The students will work in teams on a business case from our cooperation partner Siemens Healthineers (medical technologies). The student teams should understant the underlining problem of the case, develop a business plan and identify a solution. The results of the business case will be written down in a seminar paper and presented to the management as a pitch.

- Theoretical knowledge in business planning and design thinking
- Practical workshops in design thinking and business planning
- Introdution in the business of medical technologies
- Integrate results in a seminar paper
- Present findings in a management-pitch
- Excursion to Siemens Healthineers in Nuremberg
Grading
Grade is made out of two parts:
- Seminar paper (60%)
- Presentation (40%)
All parts need to be passed.
