The course "Herausforderungen in der Nutzfahrzeugindustrie" adresses all master students (elective course). This course is part of the course plan for students majoring in "Finance and Accounting" and "Marketing, Strategy and Leadership".
The course consists of two full-day modules. The first module is a lecture held by Andreas Renschler. The second module is probably an excursion to the MAN Truck Forum. The personal attendance at both modules is a prerequisite for the enrollment to the exam.

NOTE: This seminar will be held in person at TUM. It is no virtual format. For in-person lectures, the "3G-rules" apply. This means that all participants need to be either vaccinated, recovered or tested.
Course Topic
In this course, students will become acquainted with current topics in the commercial vehicle manufacturing industry. Throughout the lecture, Mr. Renschler will give a broad overview of current challenges, such as tightening regulations, digitalization, changing customer needs, and globalization. Mr. Renscher will also highlight the special management accounting needs of commercial vehicle OEMs.
