Interdisciplinary Projects for Informatics (IDP)

Interdisciplinary Projects for Informatics (IDP) (for informatics students) consist of a theoretical part (learning about management techniques) and a practical part (implementing informatics skills). The Professorship for Entrepreneurial Finance (PEF) supervises projects for the practical part of the IDP. The practical part typically consists of 70% practical activity in the company, 20% documentation of your activity, and 10% presentation. For the theoretical part, computer science students can enrol into courses offered at TUM School of Management. IDPs can be completed alone or in a team of 2-5 students.

To apply for an IDP as a student, please contact the company directly and always attach your CV and transcript of record combined into one PDF. Should you already have an agreement with a company, please send us all documents, including a description of the project, CV, and transcript. We do not consider incomplete applications.
