Course Topic
Globalization, digitization and automation are megatrends. The progressive digitization leads to a further acceleration of the globalization. Digitization takes globalization to a new level. Markets are changing, new markets and rules are emerging. There is an increase in the flow of people, goods and information, a change in trade and investment, and increasing complexity in value and logistics chains. In a post-growth economy, digitization offers the potential to generate new growth.
Companies in every industry face challenges and have to adapt to this changing environment. Dr. Reuter will shed light on the changes that globalization and digitization bring in a holistic manner, illustrated with practical impressions with personal insights. How do companies adjust their strategy accordingly to benefit from opportunities and potential? A special focus will be on automation industries and the China/Asia region.
