Research Projects
My research seeks to understand why people seem to act irrationally and violate moral values and norms. Using methods from behavioral economics, I examine in detail the behavioral concepts of moral self licensing, moral compensation, moral consistency and their implications for what is arguably one of the greatest challenges of our time: moving the world towards more sustainable and moral behavior.
