Getting started with Refinitiv Workspace and Datastream

The course is intended to provide an introduction to working with the products Refinitiv Workspace and Datastream. It prepares students for data collection in the context of empirical work (project studies, bachelor's, master's, and doctoral theses). This will be achieved by both demonstration of the user interfaces by the lecturer and computer exercises.

The workshop is intended for interested students and doctoral candidates of the TUM School of Management who would like to work empirically as part of their thesis or dissertation. Students who intend to write their thesis at the Chair of Financial Management and Capital Markets are highly recommended to attend the workshop.

Two identical workshops take place each semester. Participation in both workshops is therefore not necessary. For further information, please refer to TUMonline.
