Joint PhD project

What is a PhD?

A PhD is a doctoral research degree and the highest level of academic qualification a student can achieve. The degree normally takes between three and four years of full-time work towards a thesis offering an original contribution to one specific subject. A doctorate can also be pursued in cooperation with a company.

As part of such a cooperation, the PhD candidate’s research is financed by the company while the academic supervision of the dissertation is provided by the head of the Chair of Corporate Management, Prof. Dr. Alwine Mohnen. The research questions addressed within the PhD project have to be developed in alignment with Prof. Dr. Alwine Mohnen.

What are your benefits as a company?
